Hello everybody!
I'm Sara and I blog at Às Voltas no Mundo (Around the World). I started blogging about 8 years ago, when I moved out of my home country, Portugal. I wanted to share all my adventures with my friends and make new friends as well.
Às Voltas no Mundo is my second blog and is mainly about traveling and all the wonderful places I have been lucky enough to visit. I also like posting about my other passions such as running and cooking.
I write in portuguese, because that's the only way I have to keep my mother language in my daily life, since I speak English most of the time. You can use the translator on the sidebar. It might not work well all the time, but I promise you will at least laugh at some translations. My blog is also rich in photographs because my boyfriend is an (amazing - at least for me) amateur photographer.
Enjoy Às Voltas no Mundo!!
***UPDATE***
Of course it was only today that the translator decided to stop working!! I'm trying to fix it. In the meantime enjoy the pictures ;)

ResponderEliminarEvalina, This and that...
Portugal is a lovely country, I've visited driving from Spain and, from a cruise ship, the Azores.
ResponderEliminarVery nice pictures! Blog on! Aloha from snowy, icy and frigid New York!
Ana
I do love traveling! Some translations don't make sense at all. Especially from German or Turkish to English. Sometimes I am left scratching my head trying to figure out what the blogger is talking about. :) Always nice to look at pictures. Best wishes, Tammy

ResponderEliminarThank you all for your kind words and for visiting this blog! I am very happy with the GYB party because I got to know so many other bloggers :D
ResponderEliminarThank you for sharing your wonderful travels! The pictures are fantastic!
ResponderEliminarThanks Vickie. Sometimes the view is fantastic and it becomes quite difficult to take bad pictures ;)
ResponderEliminarHi Sara, I am visiting with the GYB party and am definitely a new follower. Your pictures (or your boyfriend's) show the places you have been to beautifully - I want to come with you to whatever places you go. With such gorgeous photos to look at it is no problem if we don't understand what you write each time... I do understand single words in Portuguese (speaking French and learning Spanish) but your pictures and the headline discribing the place is ok for me. I tried to write my blog posts in three langauges, too, but that's just too time consuming - I stick to international English. As you say it is not just translating but writing the article three different times...
ResponderEliminarTina in Germany
I agree, your boyfriend is an amazing photographer. Just looking at the pictures makes me want to travel! I truly enjoyed my visit to your blog.
ResponderEliminarTine and Renee,
ResponderEliminarThank you so much for your comments! I'm happy you are enjoying my blog and the boy's photographs. I'll keep posting more ;)
The photographs are gorgeous! I am very jealous ... what my camera and ability normally capture well is the grey of the rain here (even when it isn't raining).
ResponderEliminarTake care and enjoy the party!
