There was a report on Czech TV about the City Cross race in Prague. They showed a slow motion image of me, with a nice smile and happily running in the secret gardens.
The video doesn't work in all countries but here is a frame I saved from it.

The official photographer also got a happy moment of me, just after the end of the steepest hill. It's the first time I have decent pictures from the official staff. I get it now, the trick is to smile!
O fotografo oficial também captou um momento de alegria minha, no final da subida mais a pique. Foi a primeira vez que tive fotos decentes numa corrida, mas agora já sei, o truque é sorrir!
I know I look like a sausage, but I had 4 shirts on! Funny thing is the guy behind me who is running in shorts and a t-shirt. I swear HE is the exception, not me!
Eu sei que pareço um chouriço, mas tinha 4 camisolas vestidas. O mais engraçado é que o senhor atrás de mim está a correr de calções e t-shirt. Juro que a excepção é ELE e não eu!

ResponderEliminarThose foil blankets were really helpful, both at the start and at the finish line. It was about 5 ºC and very humid. I will smile more often, also because it helps me to forget how tired I am ;)
