Peso da Régua - Portugal

Régua doesn't need more words to be described. It's a city that grew up on the slopes of the river and lives off wine and tourism. It's location and size makes it the perfect base to explore the Douro region, as it's close to all the good and interesting spots. Régua itself is also a pleasant place to enjoy yourselves.

We met a television crew filming a cooking show with the Portuguese chef Kiko. We even got to talk to him and found out he loves running, just like us!

We also visited different wine producers: Porto Réccua vinhos, in the city center and Quinta do Vallado, just outside the city.

    1. Thank you Sami! I hope you enjoy your time there.
To be fair every brand produces Port wine in their own way and keep it for different time, so every bottle is almost unique, but I know what you mean. You should try rose or white port. They are great in the summer!
