Nascida e criada em Portugal. Já morei na Polónia, no Brasil, na República Checa e agora é a Suécia que me acolhe.
O meu blogue, tal como o meu cérebro, é uma mistura de línguas. Bem vindos!
Born and raised Portuguese. I have lived in Poland, Brazil, Czech Republic and now I'm in the beautiful Sweden.
My blog, just like my brain, is a blend of languages. Welcome!

Have you ever read any John Grisham books? My favorite author. Sycamore Row....my favorite of his books. I'm reading Go Set A Watchman by Harper Lee, who just passed away in the last couple of weeks. But, I'm having a hard time getting into it, though. It may turn out okay.
ResponderEliminarI have read some books from John Grisham (I really enjoyed Skipping Christmas), but not the Sycamore Row. I'll give it a try. Thanks for your suggestion! Let me know if the one from Harper Lee is worth it.
EliminarHave you read "The Portuguese - a modern history" - by Barry Hatton?
ResponderEliminarYou can get it either in Portuguese or English and it's an interesting book about us as a nation, written by an English journalist who lives in Portugal.
You can get the English version from The Book depository, the Portuguese version from Fnac.
I also like John Grisham, but haven't read the one recommended above.
I have read that book from Barry Hatton and I enjoyed it a lot. I bought it in English so my boyfriend could read it as well. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
EliminarHave you tried "Guia Politicamente Incorreto da História do Brasil", from Leandro Narloch. It's also a good one and it talks about the Portuguese in Brazil.
Aconselho "A Sombra do Vento" de Carlos Ruiz Zafón :)
ResponderEliminarOlá Ana! Já li esse e adorei ;)
EliminarObrigada na mesma pela sugestão.

ResponderEliminarThanks for your suggestions Jandi! I have read some of the Russian oldies but I might have never read a book from an African author. I will look into it.
