A big advantage of being unemployed is having time to do what I really like. One of my favourite hobbies is cooking and exploring new recipes and cuisines. Recently, I challenged myself on an international eating week, meaning I would have to cook a recipe from a different country every day for a week. I had a lot of fun and here is the summary of the results. All the recipes are in my other blog The Swedish and the Chef. Click on the title of the recipe for the links.
Diverti-me imenso e deixo aqui os resultados. Todas as receitas estão no meu outro blog, The Swedish and the Chef e é só clicar no titulo das receitas.

Oh wow, they all look so good. How fun to cook from a different country for each meal. I have a friend who has a different country's theme for dinner each Christmas.
ResponderEliminarThanks Laurie! They were also tasty and we had a lot of fun. I like the idea of your friend, although we like following our Christmas traditions. Maybe I'll start something like that in some other day of the year.
EliminarWhat a wonderful idea! I have a friend who once a month organizes a dinner with dishes from a specific country and the whole family must study up about that country and then they have a quiz and discuss what they know. A wonderful way to discover other cultures I think!
ResponderEliminarThanks Sami! I really like your friend's idea as well! A quiz and good food for sure makes for a fun cultural evening. Maybe I'll start doing that as well.
Eliminaroh! i'd love to eat at your house! i am absolutely ravenous now! have a beautiful week! <3
ResponderEliminarYou are very welcome! Although we don't actually do this every week. It's fun but it requires a lot of work. Have a beautiful week you too :)
